The State Medicinal Plants Board (SMPB) Haryana is a government organization under the AYUSH Department. It was established on 13th August 2002 in accordance with the guidelines of the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) of the Government of India, New Delhi. With the Hon’ble forest minister as its chairman. The mission of SMPB Haryana is to promote and regulate the conservation, development, and sustainable management of valuable medicinal plants in the state, while also improving the livelihoods of farmers through the cultivation of medicinal plants.
